Current Work
Architecture obviously informs some of her work. She has undertaken studies of towns: Bath and Venice producing a series of paintings in collage and acrylic.  These series attempt to capture the atmosphere of individula places with an abstract approach, light and colour being of utmost importance.

Generally her subject matter is varied, and ranges from small to large: landscape, still life, abstracts, marine subjects and portraits. The largest to date is a mural 4m x 6m for the Phoenix Art Centre, Exeter.

Artist in Residence
Jane was Artist in Residence for the Royal Southampton Yacht Club, producing large backdrops for parties. She also produced exhibitions with a fellow artist to raise money for the club’s charities.

Exhibitions
Jane has exhibited at the RWA Autumn Exhibition, the City of Southampton Open, the Black Swan Arts, Frome, the St Barbe’s Summer Exhibitions, Lymington, the Royal Bath and West Show, the Best of Hampshire Artists at Hillier Gardens, Romsey, and Mall Galleries, London.
